Blog
So you like to blog about music. Even playlists. But posting a playlist to
your blog is a little tedious, since coding an HTML table with all the right
data in it, is not really how you want to spend your spare time.
You will be glad to read that beaTunes supports blogging playlists to any
blogger.com/blogspot or Atom 1.0
compatible blog.
Here's how it works
- Get the free beaTunes trial version
for Windows or Mac and install it on your computer
- Start beaTunes
- Open the preferences dialog (Mac: Application menu > Preferences;
Windows: Edit menu > Preferences) and select the blog pane:
- Enter the URL of your blog
- Enter your username
- You can choose to have beaTunes automatically link your songs to Amazon and if
you happen to have an associate tag you can even earn money this way
- Now close the preferences dialog (no need to save explicitly), select a playlist
or a couple of songs you would like to write about and click on the Blog About button
in the Tools menu.
- beaTunes now diplays the blog entry dialog:
- Enter a title and your blog entry
- Add or remove tags (aka labels)
- Turn columns on and off by right/command-clicking on the table headers
- Order the playlist columns by dragging their headers
- Preview your blog entry in your browser
- If you would like to edit your entry some more with another blog editor,
check the Publish as draft checkbox
- Now publish your post - beaTunes will prompt you for your password
Check out your blog!
Was that easy? Then get the free trial version and
start blogging.
